Hiring: Digital Marketing Assistant
Job Title: Christian Digital Marketing Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Together for Sheffield - Stannington Office and Remote
(7.5 hours - 15 hours per week (1 to 2 days equivalent) - days flexible)
£20,000 - £25, 000 Pro rata + Benefits
1 year contract with possibility of extension

Job Purpose: Your primary responsibility will to help the Marketing Manager increase the size of our subscribers, communities and engagement with our events and initiatives through online/offline communications
We are seeking a creative and proactive Digital Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team. This part-time role focuses on content creation, website maintenance, and email communication to enhance our online presence and engage our audience effectively. The ideal candidate will be an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about digital media.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Content Creation:
Plan, gather, and publish engaging content across various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.
Use tools such as Canva, Meta Business Suite, and Later for graphic design, image sourcing, and scheduling posts.
Write captivating captions, effectively use hashtags, create Reels and Stories, and ensure proper tagging.
Stay updated with the latest social media algorithms and adjust strategies accordingly
Website Maintenance
Perform regular updates on the website, including refreshing the homepage and uploading articles to the blog.
Manage event pages and local events updates communicated by the Marketin using Squarespace tools.
Enhance website aesthetics and functionality by adding and improving pages as needed.
Community Emails - Copywriting and Template Design:
Design email templates that ensure accuracy in all links, dates, and details.
Craft compelling copy and create engaging subject lines that resonate with diverse audiences.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube) and digital tools (Canva, Meta Business Suite, Later).
Experience within content creation, specifically short-form content for Instagram and Youtube Shorts.
Experience with Squarespace for website maintenance, including event and blog page management.
Graphic design skills with a good eye for aesthetics.
Excellent writing abilities for creating engaging content and copy.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in communications.
Ability to keep pace with digital marketing trends and algorithm changes.
